Turf Dancing Is a Culture

Oakland California, home of the Black Panthers & turf dancers . Turfing, a style  of dancing that was Initially a territorial exhibit where dancers  from each respected block would showcase his or her dance style which would implicate what part of Oakland they were from. Oakland dance culture has heightened the city’s diversity through dance over the years because of media attention, news outlets  and social sites;  but more importantly through the consistent work these turf dancers have put in , day in and day out , I say that to say “Just Do Shit” when you feel it in your bones dance , whatever you want to do in life can be done if you get started on it , and “Just Do Shit”
